Festival Moments
There's more than one type really... the one that comes and blesses you back - that gives back to you all you've sweat into it.... the moment that leave you breathless from the laughter... the moment that saps that last bit out of you... that moment that you didn't ever expect....

Seeing the famous grey van covered in coloured handprints.
Hugging Gideon after he was lost and found.
Watching people gather around the slideshow without being asked, and stay to watch it multiple times.
Hanging out at the glass bead tent with my kid.
Spending 20 minutes hitting off with somebody and then realizing I already knew them- from here! Cool!
Watching Kobo Town move out into the overflow crowd and continue playing at the end of their set.
Getting to give Tracy the photo of her friend to put up in the hospitality area.
Missing my parents and then realizing that they really had brought me up in a community and now I was giving back. It was a concept I always knew my father was very passionate about, but I never really 'got' it until that moment. It still makes me tear up.
